Immersed in the artistic world since birth, music has always been an innate part of Olivier Saint-Germain. After 8 years of mastering the six cords of his guitar, in 1996-97, during the early years of the Montreal electronic music scene, he finally discovered Techno music and all of its subgenres.

In 1999, after equipping his collection of records adequately, he was able to participate in the elaboration of various projects relating to electronic music resulting in the debut of his career as a DJ. It is under the name of OSG that saw his first appearances at different Tech-Trance and Psychedelic events.  

Olivier Saint-Germain is one of the first Montreal DJ to introduce the progressive sound containing less BPM than the traditional psychedelic Montreal style. A style of music he so adamantly defended and promoted, he was the person responsible for bringing to Montreal the legendary group Son Kite, best known today as Minilogue.
 
Olivier Saint-Germain joined the Noerg Productions crew in 2007 and since has participated actively in the collective’s activities. As of 2009 he also represents the Montreal record label, Attitude Recordings, as a DJ.
 
Among the artists that have influenced his style are Depeche Mode, Giorgio Moroder, New Order, Front 242, Son Kite, Midimiliz aka Extrawelt, Gui Boratto and Michael Mayer.  

Today, Olivier Saint-Germain places more emphasis on the Techno and Progressive music styles and currently plays in in its various residences, such as the Microtek series and Noerg Thursdays at Salon Daome. He also performed in many events and bars in Montreal.
